SEPACK LAB S.r.l. is the testing laboratory No. 1819L accredited by ACCREDIA, the The Italian Accreditation Body, in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
The UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025 regulates the "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories". The management system requirements in ISO/IEC 17025 generally operate in accordance with the principles of ISO 9001.
The accreditation, in addition to ascertaining the technical competence of the Laboratory in carrying out the tests included in the purpose of accreditation, attests to the quality of work of a laboratory, verifying the compliance of its management system and its competencies with the internationally recognized regulatory requirements, as well as mandatory legislative requirements.
The mutual recognition and/or reciprocity agreements stipulated by ACCREDIA with similar bodies from other countries ensures the international recognition of the test results issued by accredited laboratories.
The technical staff of Sepack Lab is mainly made up of Food Contact Experts registered in the AIBO-FCE (Italian Association of Business Operators - Food Contact Expert) able to provide technical and legislative assistance on Food Contact Materials (FCMs) in order to support its customers.
AIBO-FCE is an association that promotes the competencies and the professionalism of individuals who perform the role of "Business Operator" as defined by art. 2, paragraph 2, letter d) of the Reg. EC 1935/2004 on FCMs.
